THE JOB:
The incumbent will be responsible for developing a territory and selling a complete range of equipment including Industrial Air Dryers, Fabricated Filters, and Aftermarket products. The Sales Representative will also be responsible for promoting service and support on compressed air equipment, and for establishing and maintaining a strong distribution network.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Visit customers to find and maintain new business opportunities

  • Develop potential end use customers

  • Develop new distributors in strategic locations throughout the territory and maintain the network

  • Promote the service offering for our equipment and for servicing other branded products

  • Participate in marketing and sales campaigns and strategies

  • Implement Xebec’s business strategy to achieve annual sales and profitability objectives

  • Ensure overall customer satisfaction

  • Maintain Sales Reports and Visit Logs

  • Keep accurate records of discussions and/or correspondence with customer

  • Follow up with all assigned tenders and prospects within the territory

  • Help develop brand awareness in the filtration and adsorption market

  • Represent Xebec at trade shows and conferences
  • Job Requirements:

    REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
    The following qualifications are the minimum requirements necessary to successfully perform this role. However, any equivalent combination of experience, education and training which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities would be acceptable:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar role

  • Sales experience in the field of compressed air, air filtration and gases (an asset)

  • Knowledge of MS Office

  • Superior oral and written communication skills (both French and English)

  • Ability to overcome objections and approach potential clients

  • Be proactive in the demands and needs of customers

  • Great interpersonal skills, including listening skills with an orientation toward customer service

  • Proven prospecting techniques

  • Self-motivated, energetic and enthusiastic

  • Ability to work independently

  • Available to travel (within a defined territory); must have a valid driver’s license and a vehicle in good working order
